Meet our GHL Refs
The GHL is very grateful for the people that volunteer and give up valuable time on Saturday Evenings so that players can play safe, enjoyable, and well-reffed hockey.
The league appreciates all of the people that don the stripes and want the players to get a profile of the people that award them goals, assists, and the occasional penalty. We asked all of the refs 10 questions and will present their responses.
So, next time you that you see a GHL ref, let them know that you appreciate what they do for the league…..

What do you do in your free time?
Raise a young son, ride a motorcycle, and play lots of hockey.
Who Introduced you to the GHL?
Facebook did. Mary Jackson noticed I joined the Facebook page and spoke up. She was actually my wedding coordinator on the day I was married and went to school with my wife. Small world!
How many years you have reffed / played in the GHL?
This is my first and loving it.
If a player needed to win the final game, and had to bribe you with something, what would that be?
Craft beer AND pizza, but it would have to be both, not one or the other.
Favourite NHL Hockey Team / Player ?
Toronto Maple Leafs and it was #17, Wendel Clark.
What was the worst punishment you had as a kid?
The wooden spoon, or just the look my dad gave me if I ever got out of line. He was a police officer and I knew when to not push his buttons.
Favourite Place in the World to go or want to go?
Ireland was and still is a special place for me.

I like to goof around on the guitar. Also, speaking of Ireland, I spent some time there and my son was also born on St. Patrick's Day.
